Colleen worked at Stanford for 33 years as a respiratory therapist. She spent 10 years of her career in pulmonary diagnostics, working with the pulmonary division performing pulmonary function on patients with cystic fibrosis. During this time Colleen found her niche. She enjoyed having a lasting relationships with people with CF and their families. Colleen retired as the translational research administrator for clinical research CF program at Stanford University Hospital in Palo Alto, California in 2022. She enjoyed many long relationships she made with the CF community, mentoring new research coordinators, and has participated as a presenter in numerous educational seminars. She joined the CFRI board in 2019. She has also been a member of the Research Advisory Committee since 2018. Colleen is currently living back in Michigan close to many family members and friends.
