The 11
th Annual CFRI CF Conference will be held on August 7th through the 9th at the Sheraton Palo Alto Hotel in Palo Alto (formerly the Holiday Inn). Cystic Fibrosis Research, Inc. (CFRI), the United States Adult Cystic Fibrosis Association (USACFA), and the Stanford University School of Medicine are joint sponsors of the conference. This year’s theme is Managing Cystic Fibrosis: Perspectives on Healthful Choices. The CF Conference is designed for the lay person—those with CF, CF caregivers, friends and family. Highlights include:The CFRI Conference is a special event for many people in the CFRI community (see testimonials in sidebar). Many people look forward each year to attending and learning about the latest developments in cystic fibrosis research and clinical practices. It is also a time for camaraderie, support, sharing stories, networking, and just plain fun.
