Is Blue Cross of California medical insurance becoming a nightmare service for you? Have you recently been informed that the mail order prescription service is no longer authorized to fill certain prescriptions (all the expensive ones like digestive enzymes, tobramiacin and pulmozyme)? Have you had other problems with Blue Cross such as timely payment of claims? If so, have you had any successes in dealing with these situations? Is there a law that requires health insurance companies to notify policy holders 30 days in advance of changes in coverage? If so, perhaps we have some recourse to the changes in mail order prescription coverage because some of us did not receive prior notification.
If you can answer "yes" to any of the above questions, I'd like to hear from you. Please contact Norma Kipp (408) 373-0595 (except Monday & Wednesday evenings). Perhaps, collectively, we can find ways to resolve some of these problems.
