Few settings in California are as breathtaking as the historic and exclusive Carolands chateau in Hillsborough.
CFRI’s 40th Anniversary Gala at Carolands on September 25th will feature lavish small plates, fine wines, an exciting auction
(Tesla factory tour, Costa Rican and Mexican getaways, golf at Pasatiempo, Golden Globes gift baskets, and more), live music by Magnolia Jazz Band, and fabulous celebrities – including Beach Blanket Babylon’s Tammy Nelson -- and NBC Bay Area’s six-time Emmy Award winner Raj Mathai. CFRI is thrilled to honor Dr. Dennis Nielson, Director of the CF Center at
UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital San Francisco as the “2015 CF Champion.”
This soirée will raise vital funds for CFRI’s research and education programs. When CFRI was formed in 1975,
children with CF were not expected to survive their teen years. While significant advances have been achieved,
there is still no cure. Please join us, and help to find a cure for those coping with CF,
the most common fatal genetic disease in the U.S.
